GEHLMAX IHI (VX / NX)
Zero Tail Excavators.

The Zero Tail Excavaotor series from GEHLMAX IHI includes 9 models between 0.9 tons and 8 tons of operating weight.
These models offer several features for greater comfort and increased productivity compared to its competitors. Thanks to the rear frame - turning within the outer track width - working in confined spaces is not a problem. Due to this, excavating and loading close to walls is possible in complete safety.

The VX / NX series::

• 9 VX: The smallest GEHLMX IHI VX model comes with an extendable undercarriage. This is an important safety feature as the machine can increase stability within seconds. In addition to that the new rubber tracks design provides for a better grip during work and a longer service life.
• Swing Brake: All models are equipped with an automatic disc brake in the swing motor for locking the upper structure at any wanted position.
• ANTI SHOCK SYSTEM - All boom movements are attenuated by the hydraulic circuit ANTI SHOCK VALVE. In the lifting phase the stopping shock at the end of the boom travel is limited by the cylinders cushioning system.
• High Driving Comfort -The work station is comfortable thanks to the adjustable spring seat, ergonomic controls and servo –assisted joy-sticks that ensure maximum precision. The machines can be fitted with cabs with radio, openable front window, windscreen wiper, heater and rear glove box that ensure a high quality standard. If the driving position is abandoned, a system inhibits all operation functions concerning the first arm, forearm, bucket, upper frame rotation and travel.
• 2-Speed as standard - The VX as well as the NX models both come with 2-speed transmission which offers high power for excavating and high speed for travel.
• Protection of the components - The hydraulic hoses for the arm and the bucket are stowed. The boom cylinder hoses are positioned in the back and they are segmented to ensure easy replacement.
• Digging close to blade - Due to the conception of the digging boom, it is possible to work extremly close to the blade.
